Taste Festivals promote the British Food and Drink Industry through a series of events (such as the Taste of London festival in Regent's Park, Taste of Edinburgh and Taste of Christmas), as well as providing information on restaurants, chefs, food and wine producers and other aspects of the entertainment and hospitality sectors.
Winona developed a new platform for the event in 2011 to market Taste of London. The London site was built around an engaging new brand and included a range of features to tie in with social media and community content (including Twitter and Facebook feeds and an integrated blog). Subsequent sites were released for Taste of Edinburgh, Taste of Christmas and Taste of Amsterdam – all managed from the same platform.
The Taste platform includes bespoke databases indexing Chefs, Restaurants and Exhibitors, and making it possible for the user to search these entries together with the rest of the site content. There is also a Video channel with commenting powered by Disqus.
