London Collections is a major new fashion event developed by the British Fashion Council. The event allows London to kick start the Menswear calendar with a showcase of British brands and businesses embedded in a cultural programme.
London Collections: Men is a development of the Men's day at London Fashion Week. This new showcase will emphasise both the creative and commercial importance of Britain's brands and emerging talent as well as the rich cultural landscape that contributes to the inspiration and success of this sector.
The first London Collections: Men schedule brings together an exciting array of London's brightest menswear stars, British heritage brands and international names to show across the three day celebration of men's fashion.
In addition to over 50 shows and presentations, Burberry, Esquire & Mr Porter, GQ and Calvin Klein, Louis Vuitton, Spencer Hart and Tom Ford will host events. HRH The Prince of Wales will host a reception to celebrate the launch on 14th June 2012 at St James's Palace.
Winona designed and built the website for London Collections, working with the brand identity developed by Music. It features bespoke applications for showcasing designers and events; image and video galleries; integration with key social media channels; e-marketing.
A mobile site with personalised calendar was also developed to support the event.
To coincide with The Prince of Wales officially launching London Collections: Men at St James's Palace, we developed an interactive gallery dedicated to his style. From highland tartans to Savile Row suits, the user can click on the Prince's outfits to discover the origin of each item and more about the brand. His preferred London brands are also plotted on a map with a picture of the related outfit.
