Winona have been supporting London Fashion Week since 2008 and we always try to bring in something new for each season. For the Autumn / Winter 2011 season we introduced a mobile Fashion Week site focusing on the latest schedule.
The mobile site was optimised for iPhone, Android, Blackberry OS 6, and Windows Phone 7 and allows users to browse through each day of the schedule to view biographies, contact info and latest galleries for all catwalk designers and presentations. It also showcases the season’s exhbitors, latest news updates and Tweets.
It uses the same content as the main website (so no admin overheads for British Fashion Council) but repurposes it for mobile devices, promoting key content to the Fashion audience on the move.
For next season (Spring / Summer 2012) the mobile platform will be extended to support Android, Windows and Blackberry handhelds.
