League Against Cruel Sports is a charity that campaigns to stop cruelty to animals in the name of sport. It was established in 1924 and uses lawful investigations, campaigning and lobbying to make a difference in the UK and around the world.
Winona has been working with the League since 2007, and undertook a complete redesign and CMS upgrade in spring 2011. The new site offers the League more control of content, more flexible and engaging templates and new features for community, interaction and social media integration.
The new site integrates a (previously stand-alone) microsite for the 'Keep Cruelty History' campaign – bringing these screens into the content management system in preparation for increased activity on this key campaign. The site also incorporates a video gallery, a multi-user blog and links with a third party registration and online donations system.
The site showcases the League's extensive campaigning against animal cruelty, highlights their high-profile celebrity backing and encourages supporters to get involved.
