Children’s Liver Disease Foundation is a national charity whose mission is to be the voice for babies, children, young people and their families and adults diagnosed in childhood, ensuring that childhood liver diseases are understood, prevented and outcomes optimised through excellent research, effective information and emotional support.
The Foundation’s new website must satisfy the needs of a wide variety of audiences – parents, friends and wider family, fundraising supporters and young adults - whose needs also vary according to where they are on their journey with childhood liver disease.
CLDF’s brief was for Winona to build a new site which enables relationship building between the Foundation and its audiences, conveys the charity’s brand values, imparts information efficiently and encourages fundraising.
The main CLDF site is supplemented by three microsites – Yellow Alert (a campaign site which promotes the appropriate diagnosis and referral of neonatal jaundice), Big Yellow Friday (a fundraising site to support the CLDFs national fundraising day) and the CLDF Peace – Bereavement service.
