Amnesty is a movement of ordinary people from across the world standing up for humanity and human rights.

Winona have been working closely with Amnesty on their new site since October 2005 and launched in May 2006.

The new site marks a significant shift in the way the organisation operates. It provides a virtual HQ for Amnesty in the UK and will be central to the way Amnesty presents itself and interacts with its supporters, potential supporters and the general public in the future.

This is a big site, with content divided into four main areas - What we do, What you can do, news and events and My Amnesty  (the members' area). In What you can do, you can get more involved with Amnesty by becoming a member, by taking action, by joining a group, and by raising funds or spending money in lots of different ways.

Registration allows users to use discussion boards, request email updates, get involved with various kinds of activism and access profiled content via My Amnesty.
